This skills-based course on chest ultrasound, focusing on pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons as well as ICU doctors, fellows and residents, provide participants with an overview of the knowledge and skills required to perform thoracic ultrasound to diagnose and treat patients with lung diseases.
The maximum number of participants for the course is 20.
This course has been granted 16 CME credits. The number of credits that you will receive corresponds to your attendance during the course. Please note that you need to sign the register of attendance each day to ensure that you receive the CME credits. Previous knowledge and experience of performing ultrasounds is not required for this course.
Following this course, participants will
- have knowledge of basic ultrasound physics
- have theoretical knowledge of thoracic ultrasound
- be able to perform a focused thoracic ultrasound examination
- be able to perform a diagnostic thoracic ultrasound examination.
