The Hellenic Chest Diseases Society actively supports and assists the education of pulmonologists and doctors of relevant specialisms by coordinating seminars, colloquiums, public talks, postgraduate classes and other events of scientific interaction, independent or in collaboration with other Greek or foreign organizations, by the establishment of laboratories, the publishing of scientific documents or magazines, sponsorships for postgraduate studies and specialism in pulmonology and medicinal work, the development of research programs and the process of research that are related to scientific subjects of the topics covered by the Society and especially of those that present greater national interest.
