Welcome Message
The hybrid edition of “What is New in Respiratory Medicine” will be held in Ioannina, Greece on September 16-19, 2021 with the joint efforts of the Respiratory Medicine Department of the University of Ioannina & the Respiratory Physicians Association of Greece and under the auspices of the Hellenic Thoracic Society and the Hellenic Chest Diseases Society.
We are aiming to cover all the latest evolution in most fields of modern Respiratory Medicine and host dedicated COVID-19 sessions. We will additionally focus on digital tools, personalized medicine, clinical practice guidelines and development of practical skills.
In order to achieve these aims, we are planning a 4-day program with State-of-the-Art Plenary Sessions, Keynote Lectures, focused Sponsored Sessions, Pre-Congress Clinical Workshops and practical hands-on sessions, to the extent that the course of the pandemic will allow us. Continuing the legacy of #WiNRespMed2020, we are planning to engage with world-leading experts in various fields of Respiratory Medicine.
In light of the need to increase vaccination rates and taking into account that the best way to spread the message is through proper awareness raising, this year “What is New in Respiratory Medicine”, the scientific medical community and Ioannina Lake Run, one of the top running events in the country, have decided to join forces and “run” a campaign on the significance of vaccination in dealing with the COVID-19 threat.
#Run4Vax campaign is a call for Vaccination against COVID-19!
We look forward to welcoming you in the #WiNRespMed2021 Hybrid Congress on September 16-19, 2021, in Ioannina, Greece.
